5/28/20 TX Update Nursing Facilities Should Apply for Up to $3000 in CMP Funds for Communication Devices Used During COVID-19
-
The next application period is July 1 - August 31. All nursing facilities are encouraged to apply for up to $3000 in federal civil money penalty funds per facility. These funds are to purchase communication devices to aid in connecting residents with their loved ones during the COVID-19 pandemic. See Here

5/22/20 HHS Releases $4.9B in COVID-19 Relief for Skilled Nursing Facilities

The federal government announced the first specific tranche of stimulus money for the industry released since the start of the pandemic. Each skilled nursing facility in the country will receive a baseline payment of $50,000, plus an additional $2,500 per bed. See Here

5/13/20 CMS Issues NEW Nursing Homes Best Practices Toolkit to Combat COVID-19

CMS released a new toolkit developed to aid nursing homes, Governors, states, departments of health, and other agencies who provide oversight and assistance to these facilities, with additional resources to aid in the fight against COVID-19.
